By registering as exhibition visitor for the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition 2026 (visitor dates: 5- 8 October 2026), you agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions.

Privacy and data protection

  1. Your privacy online is important to us and we are guided by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) . As such, we want you to understand what, if any, information we collect and how it is used. For more information please see our Privacy Notice and Use of cookies page.
  2. The details you provide to us are stored securely, and you can opt out of our mailing list at any time by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ in any emails we send you. Your data is never sold to third parties, and we will erase it at your request.
  3. Please note that by allowing your badge to be scanned by exhibitors for lead retrieval, you are providing your full contact information (address, email, phone, etc.) to the exhibitors.
  4. Please note that photos and video from the Congress may be used in IWA related productions or publications such as emails, social media posts, printed materials, videos, and websites.
  5. IWA encourages the use of social media during our events. To protect the intellectual property of our presenters and exhibitors, all visitors are asked to be respectful when posting content from the Congress. If you are unsure whether it is appropriate to post a picture, video, or quote, please respect permission from the relevant presenter or exhibitor.

Harassment

  1. IWA has zero-tolerance for any form of discrimination or harassment. This includes, but not limited to racial and sexual discrimination and harassment, or verbal and physical harassment. Any person who experiences such misconduct or believes this has occurred should report to the IWA Executive Director, and/or the IWA Director of Global Events & Awards, and/or any IWA staff member available.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. Any persons below the age of 18 years (a child as defined by law) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. The parent or guardian assumes all risks and responsibility for the safety of their children.
  2. Congress & exhibition organisers are not liable for any claims, damage or expense arising out of cancellation, disruption, changes or limitations to the programme or services as a result of any circumstances outside their control including weather, terrorist event, travel restrictions, visa refusals, or biological or health hazard or event.
  3. Visitors are advised to arrange their own travel insurance to cover medical expenses, cancellation and all other risks. The congress & exhibition organisers, their officers and employees are not liable for, and the visitors releases them from, any liability for claims, damage or expense whether in respect of personal injury, death, loss or damage to the delegate or partner(s)/children.
